Age Limit	18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Workers having requisite qualification are eligible for relaxation of upper age up to 50 years.
Qualifications	Certificate in Catering from Government recognised Institute. Two years experience as Cook under Government / Quasi Government/ Public Sector/registered concern.
Notes	Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. The experience should be from an institution registered under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Act 1969, the Societies Registration Act 1860, etc., as specified in the notification. Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post shall also be sufficient. Provisional hands working in the concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service subject to a maximum of five years. The Ranked list shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years. Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
