The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher in Geology in Kerala Higher Secondary Education exam on 28-11-2025 under category no 444/2025. Age Limit

20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC. Relaxation up to 43 years for qualified Ministerial Staff.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Geology with not less than 50% marks from a recognized University
B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from a recognized University
Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher

Notes

4% vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates.
Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Persons with M.Ed in the concerned subject are exempted from B.Ed qualification.
Weightage marks for Non-qualifying Degrees (Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship) will be awarded.
