The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Lecturer in Commercial Practice (Govt. Polytechnics) in Technical Education exam on 31-12-2025 under category no 707/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Lecturer in Commercial Practice (Govt. Age Limit

20 – 39. Only candidates born between 02/01/1986 and 01/01/2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation. Officers of the Technical Education and other specified departments are allowed age relaxation up to a maximum of 50 years.

Qualifications

First Class Master’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized University after undergoing a regular course of study.
Diploma in Commercial Practice.

Notes

4% of the total vacancies shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a)ii is applicable.
Candidates who have acquired Non-qualifying Degrees viz. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded weightage marks (M.Phil – 2 marks, Ph.D – 4 marks, Both – 5 marks, Post Doctoral Fellowship – 2 marks).
Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government will also be considered.
Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly are acceptable for appointment.
