The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Operator in Kerala Water Authority exam on 31-12-2025 under category no 734/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an Operator in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 27,200-73,600/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 04-02-2026.

Method of appointment	By Direct Recruitment from in-service personnel in lower categories of Kerala Water Authority.
Age Limit	18-50; Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included). No further relaxation is admissible.
Qualifications	Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. National Trade Certificate (NTC) awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training in the trade of Electrician/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Electrical/ Mechanical after the completion of 2 year course or its equivalent. OR Kerala Government Certificate Examination in Engineering in Electrical issued by Government of Kerala after the completion of 2 year course or its equivalent.
Notes	Only for In-service personnel working in the lower categories in Kerala Water Authority. Candidates must have a period of not less than 2 years of service in lower categories included under GO(P) No.1/2023/WRD dated 27.01.2023 or under KWA Service Rules 2011. Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Reservation provided under Rules 14 to 17 of Part II, KS&SSR is not applicable. Differently Abled Candidates applying for this post are not eligible for age relaxation. Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government will also be considered. The Ranked list shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Probation is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala Water Authority.
