Candidates who are interested in working as an Assistant Surgeon/ Casualty Medical Officer in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹63700 - 123700/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

Qualifications | 1) Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification. 2) Must possess valid Registration with Travancore Cochin Medical Council. Note 1) For persons who were in defence service , the first one year of their service will be treated as House surgency. 2) Personnel working in various departments of Government and acquired MBBS qualification while in service will be given exemption from upper age limit to the extend necessary for Direct Recruitment. The maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. 3. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification declared by the Government an equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification through Executive Orders or Standing Orders, the qualifications fixed by the Commission as equivalent to the qualification laid down in the Special Rules and the higher qualifications for which the specified qualification is recognized on its basic qualification shall be accepted. Government orders regarding the equivalent qualification /higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for the same by the Commission. |
