The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of High School Teacher (Sanskrit) in Education exam on 30-08-2025 under category no 284/2025. Candidates who are interested in working as an High School Teacher (Sanskrit) in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹ 41,300-87,000/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 03-10-2025.

Age Limit

18-40. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. SC/ST Candidates and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation.

Qualifications

A Degree in Sanskrit and B. Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
OR A title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit (equivalent to Part III of degree) and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET, Category III).

Notes

Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified by G.O.(P) No. 5/2023/SJD.
Equivalent/higher qualifications as recognized by government orders will be sufficient.
Exemption from K-TET is granted to those who have qualified CTET, NET, SET, M.Phil, Ph.D, or M.Ed.
