Physiotherapist – Kerala Sports and Youth affairs – 591/2022

The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced that they are inviting applications for the post of Physiotherapist in Kerala Sports and Youth affairs exam on 30-12-2022 under category no 591/2022. Candidates who are interested in working as an Physiotherapist in the state of Kerala with a pay scale of ₹43400 – 91200/-, can now apply for the exam through the official KPSC website. The last date of application will be 01-02-2023.

Candidates are advised to apply before the deadline, as the application process will not be accepted after the last date. The number of vacancies and other details regarding qualifications and eligibility will be provided below.

The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to
this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will
continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one
year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list
against the above mentioned vacancies and also against the vacancies that may be reported to the
Commission during the period of currency of the list.

Age Limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both
dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates from Other Backward
Communities, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are eligible for
usual age relaxation.(For other conditions regarding age relaxations,
please see para (2) of Part II General Conditions of the Gazette
notification).

Qualifications

1) A Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University.
In the absence of candidates possessing the qualification under item
2) (1) above:
(i) A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent
(ii) (a) Diploma In Physiotherapy from an Institution recognized
by the State Government
OR
(b) Trained Physiotherapy Assistant Class II in the Armed
Force or those who have experience in Sports Physiotherapy.
Note:- Preference will be given to those who have experience in Sports
Physiotherapy
